Program Benefits
In 2023, the Governor and the Florida Legislature passed and signed into law Senate Bill 102 known as the Live Local Act. It was created to bring stability to housing across communities. This program supports long-term housing options by encouraging a balance between fair rents and community needs, providing a sense of stability for tenants.
1. Income Eligibility and Verification
- Your household income must fall within the range set by the program, which is based on local income levels. In order to verify, tenants must provide the typical documents required during application such as individual tax documents (Form 1040 or Verification of Non-filing), pay stubs or other relevant documents
2. Occupancy Requirements
- Household income requirements may vary depending on the number of occupants in the unit.
